6.4 earthquake strikes Myanmar-India border region

February 4, 2011MYANMAR — An earthquake measuring 6.4 rocked India’s eastern state of Manipur on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The depth was 55.2 miles, it added, after earlier saying the depth was just 6.2 miles. The epicenter was 30 miles north northwest of Imphal, near the border with Myanmar. There were no immediate reports of damage. -Comcast News
